Torcroft Mini Galloways are sold to breeders who want to improve the quality and or diversity of their herd. Torcroft Thyme is the best example of this. He produced beautiful show winning progeny for Pauline and Alan Dunk  of Tumblegum Stud and was himself FACE BOOK CHAMPION of the WORLD in 2019.

Pets for Small Acreages

Not every bull can be a champion, so those that aren’t of Thyme’s standard are steered. I put heaps of time into my steers making sure that they can be sold as family pets. They have to be broken to lead and to walk onto a trailer. I need to be sure they are safe around adults and children. This takes lots of training, but the end result is worth it. Cattle are herd animals therefore people must purchase a minimum of two, unless they are going into an existing herd.

Baby Q  made a complete recovery and was sold, at 10 months of age, as a Birthday gift from husband to wife. May 2020 Torcroft Paddy at 20 months has gone to Hamilton, Victoria to service the heifers at new Miniature Galloway stud. May 2020 All Sold.
